Russia Develops a New Line of Electronics for Drones

The Chips Control Key Flight and Communication Systems

A Russian company backed by the National Technology Initiative (NTI) Fund has developed a complete lineup of electronic components for unmanned aerial vehicles. The series includes five microchips responsible for flight control, speed regulation, video transmission, and radio communication — all core systems that keep drones stable and connected in the air.

According to the NTI Fund’s press service, the set features two controllers for flight and speed, a video transmitter, and transceiver boards. All components operate on the company’s in-house software, ensuring compatibility and secure data handling. Patent registration for the new products is currently underway.

Made in Russia

Production is fully localized in Russia, enabling direct technical support and warranty service. The facility also operates a quality control department to verify that each component meets its declared specifications, said company representative Givi Gotseridze.

The new chip series signals Russia’s growing push toward self-reliance in drone technology, reducing dependence on imported electronics while strengthening the country’s domestic UAV industry.
