Russia Launches a New Education Program for Developers and Analysts
The program at MEPhI aims to train versatile specialists for the IT sector.
A new educational program for IT professionals has launched at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, the university said on its website. Intelligent Information and Analytical Systems is the first specialization to combine the skill sets of both a software developer and a data analyst. According to Natalia Samoilenko, head of the university’s Digital Analytics Department, demand for such hybrid programmers is growing.
Classics and Innovation
Students will study both traditional approaches to building information systems and artificial intelligence methods, including machine learning, data analysis, and large language models. The curriculum also covers in-demand programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, and C++.
Courses include Modeling Information and Analytical Systems, Team-Based Development, Information Security, and others. The program is designed with a strong focus on solving real-world problems.
