Officials in Krasnodarskiy kray (Krasnodar Region) have completed the transition of the region’s investment portfolio into a digital format. The system now includes roadmaps for more than 750 projects, allowing authorities to manage their implementation more efficiently.

Digital Tools Help Track Investments

The digitization of investment projects is part of a broader effort to improve the region’s business climate. The announcement was made by Deputy Governor Aleksandr Ruppel during a meeting focused on business support.

The regional investment promotion agency worked together with municipal governments to convert the roadmaps of all projects into digital form. Authorities can now monitor their implementation within a unified system.

According to Aleksandr Ruppel, the digital environment makes it easier to see the full picture of investment activity.

“Now we can track the dynamics of project implementation, identify bottlenecks, and quickly step in to resolve emerging issues,” the deputy governor said.

Investments Under Digital Oversight

Currently, 753 investment projects are underway in Kuban, the informal name often used for the Krasnodar Region. The total volume of investment exceeds 4.5 trillion rubles ($~48 billion).

Most of this work is carried out at the municipal level. According to regional authorities, about 70 percent of investment projects are managed by local administrations.

As a result, the regional Department for Business Development and Foreign Economic Relations has been tasked with developing performance indicators to evaluate how municipal services support investment projects.

Investment Dashboards

Regional officials also announced the launch of a visual dashboard that displays the structure of the region’s investment portfolio along with key parameters for each project.

The dashboard shows industry sector, implementation stage, risks, and other indicators. The visual format allows officials to analyze the situation more quickly and make management decisions.

Authorities also plan to digitize as many administrative procedures as possible. In the near future, at least half of the documents related to construction permits and project commissioning will be converted into electronic form.
