Russian Mining Sector Adopts Real-Time Visual Control System

EuroChem has deployed a digital performance management tool to track production metrics, cut costs, and optimize operations.

In Russia, EuroChem’s Usolskiy Potash Plant and EuroChem-VolgaKaliy have launched the InsEf system, short for 'Performance Management Tool.' This digital solution monitors key production indicators in real time, identifies losses, and allows for rapid adjustments to technological processes to maximize economic output, reports it-world.ru.

The system analyzes more than 250 parameters — from fuel consumption to solution temperatures — and visualizes the data through intuitive graphs highlighting deviations from optimal conditions. This reduces human error, automates routine calculations, and quickly identifies bottlenecks in production.

The results include reduced raw material losses, greater management transparency, and faster decision-making.

According to Roman Bushmakin, Chief Digitalization Officer at the Usolskiy Potash Plant, the system has already proven effective and is easy for staff to adopt. The company plans to scale the solution to other facilities.
