Virtual Space Museum to Open in Russia’s Belgorod Region

A new digital project will let students explore the history of space in an interactive format.
At the Brigantina Belogorye children’s recreation camp, a virtual branch of the Tsiolkovsky State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics will soon open. The agreement was signed by the ministries of digital development for the Belgorod and Kaluga regions, the camp’s management, and the museum during the nationwide 'Digital Evolution – 2025' forum.
The camp’s educational program will be enhanced with the museum’s multimedia resources, and joint outreach events are planned, including themed meetings with experts. Through interactive experiences, students will learn about the history of Russian cosmonautics and the achievements of science and technology.
Like other regions across Russia, Belgorod is actively developing digital initiatives in culture and education. The new virtual branch of the space museum will be another step toward creating a modern learning environment for the next generation.
