Tatarstan Launches a Digital “Guest Book” for Visitors

The Online Platform Lets Tourists Share Feedback to Help Improve City Services

In Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan, the Tourism Development Committee of Kazan has launched a new digital project called “Guest Book” on the city’s portal go.kzn.ru. The online platform allows visitors to share their impressions of Kazan, offer suggestions, and highlight both successful and problematic aspects of the city’s tourism infrastructure.

The initiative is designed to make tourism services more responsive by creating a direct feedback loop between visitors and local authorities, helping improve the overall travel experience in Kazan.

Everything for Tourists

Earlier, Tatarstan introduced a project to equip all historic buildings with QR codes, linking to full archival information about each site. The feature allows tourists to instantly learn details such as the year of construction, the architects involved, and notable historical figures connected to the buildings — part of a broader effort to modernize and digitize the region’s cultural heritage for visitors.
