Robotic Mower Undergoes Field Trials in Russia's Orenburg Region
A rotary robotic mower has been undergoing field trials for the past two weeks in the settlement of Energetik in the Orenburg Region. The machine is designed to replace manual labor and significantly speed up grass mowing.

According to the local administration, the unit operates on the principle of a rotary mower: a rotating rotor with movable blades cuts grass quickly and efficiently at speeds starting from 540 revolutions per minute. The machine operates 10 times faster than a person using a trimmer or lawn mower. It can also handle dense weeds of any height.
The technology does not collect cut vegetation. Instead, the grass is shredded and left on the ground. As it decomposes, it turns into natural mulch that gradually enriches the soil with nitrogen, potassium and other trace elements. According to the developers, this approach is not only environmentally friendly but also helps retain soil moisture and improve soil quality.
