AI System for Monitoring Heart Patients Launches in Russia's Tula Region
The project is being implemented by the Chazov National Medical Research Center and Yandex.

The Chazov National Medical Research Center and Yandex have launched a new digital registry for patients who have experienced acute coronary syndrome. The artificial intelligence-based system automatically extracts and records the required medical data.
Tula Region was selected as the pilot site for the project due to its large volume of accumulated medical data and the high level of expertise within its cardiology services.
The system rapidly processes medical records, extracts more than 90 parameters, including diagnoses and coexisting conditions, and then transfers the information to an analytical platform for monitoring and visualization. The registry currently contains data on approximately 13,000 patients collected over the past five years. Previously, processing a dataset of this size required many hours of staff time. The same work can now be completed in minutes.
