Roscosmos to Test Remote Control of Russian Robot on the ISS
Roscosmos cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina will take part in the Teledroid (TeleDroid) experiment during Expedition 75 aboard the International Space Station. The mission will test remote operation of a Russian humanoid robot installed outside the station.

Dubrov explained that this will be the second phase of the experiment. The hardware will be delivered by a cargo spacecraft, while during the first phase he and Kikina will operate the robot from inside the station. The goal of the project is to develop a robotic system capable of using tools such as a hammer or a carabiner in the same way a human would.
The crew is to spend 261 days in orbit and conduct 38 scientific experiments, including a new project called Gazoanalizator-FS (Gas Analyzer-FS).
