Artificial Intelligence in Russia Is Now Powering the Beauty Industry
Artificial intelligence is reshaping aesthetic medicine in Russia, enhancing diagnostic precision, improving treatment planning, and helping evaluate outcomes more objectively.

AI‑driven technologies are rapidly gaining ground in Russia’s aesthetic medicine sector. In diagnostics, they provide an unprecedentedly detailed view of skin health — from tissue density and wrinkle depth to early signs of aging. According to Doctor of Medical Sciences Yana Yutskovskaya, as cited by Forbes, these insights are consolidated into a digital skin passport for each patient, enabling clinicians to track changes over time after procedures.
The diagnostic algorithm, nicknamed “Eva,” effectively “examines the skin from the inside.” With micron‑level precision, it measures pore depth, hydration levels, and other essential indicators. The system uses 15 cameras and evaluates the skin across 31 parameters, completing its analysis in just eight seconds.

Beyond diagnostics, AI assists in selecting appropriate treatment protocols based on collected data — down to choosing device attachments or determining needle angle for injections. AI is even embedded into aesthetic devices themselves to monitor treatment execution. These innovations are transforming medical practice, making it more precise, data‑driven, and comfortable for patients.
