Moscow Unveils the Updated Smart City Innovation Portal
Moscow has launched an upgraded version of its Smart City Moscow digital platform — a comprehensive online showcase of projects transforming daily life for residents, businesses, and visitors in the capital.

A Digital Showcase of Urban Transformation
The city has presented a refreshed version of its Smart City Moscow project — a specialized online platform featuring 111 key digital solutions that enhance urban comfort, streamline public services, support business activities, and enable testing of new technologies.
The updated portal now includes 44 new projects, while 67 existing initiatives have undergone significant upgrades. Among the new additions are Meta‑Moscow, a digital twin subsystem that simulates urban processes; Mos.Tech, a platform for creating and scaling digital projects; and the 5G Demo Center, a service showcasing the capabilities of next‑generation mobile networks.
Technology‑Driven Categorization and AI Leadership
For the first time, all showcased solutions are categorized not only by application domain but also by underlying technologies. Artificial intelligence leads the list, driving 26 of the featured innovations.
According to Eduard Lysenko, Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department of Information Technologies, modern digital services have become practical tools that significantly improve daily life for millions. The Smart City Moscow portal serves not only to highlight achievements but also to facilitate knowledge exchange with other cities and attract future IT specialists.
