Chatbot Is to Link Russian and Chinese Businesses
An innovative digital tool unveiled in Russia’s Far East is designed to help companies enter the Chinese market.

Researchers at Far Eastern Federal University have developed a program aimed at helping Russian businesses expand into China, the university’s press service said. The digital assistant, AI-Vostokoved (AI-Orientalist), operates within a popular messaging app and supports entrepreneurs at every stage of export activity, up to and including the organization of shipments.
Verified Platforms
Users can study market demand, logistics options, documentation requirements, and customs procedures. According to Roman Dremlyuga, director of the Far Eastern Center for Artificial Intelligence, the digital assistant will also notify users about regulatory changes, suggest where to find business partners, and even serve as a platform for preparing initial documents.
The system is built on data from the Russian Export Center – which helps companies enter international markets – as well as verified Chinese platforms. Trade turnover between Russia and China exceeded $228 billion in 2025. Toward the end of the year, the two countries signed an agreement to develop e-commerce and streamline the structure of bilateral trade.
