The new section includes information on how to locate archival records related to participants in the Great Patriotic War, update or correct information displayed on memorials, and help maintain remembrance sites. Users can also find information about social support measures available to families that have lost military veterans.

An electronic request service has also been integrated into the Gosuslugi feedback platform, allowing users to submit appeals related to memorial preservation and the condition of war monuments. According to the authorities, such requests will be processed on a priority basis.

“Together with the Ministry of Economic Development, we have also enabled in-person consultations on these issues through MF-centers. Pilot consultations are currently available in the Rostov, Sakhalin, and Tula regions, and if necessary, MFC staff can submit requests directly to government agencies on behalf of citizens,” the Defense Ministry said.

The ministry added that work on additional public-facing digital services is continuing in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Economic Development.
