Moscow Expands Into South America’s Gaming Market With Video Games and Animation
Moscow’s Creative Industries Agency has signed a partnership agreement with Brazil’s Brasilia Game Hub, marking the first centralized push by the Russian capital’s developers into the South American market.

The agreement followed a Moscow video game festival and business mission in São Paulo. From April 30 to May 3, Moscow developers showcased their games on city streets and in gaming clubs, while a Moscow Game Hub bus converted into a mobile gaming station traveled through the Brazilian metropolis. At the same time, 10 residents of the Moscow Video Game and Animation Cluster held more than 300 business meetings with local partners to discuss publishing and localizing Russian games, licensing agreements and access to digital platforms.
Brazil’s gaming audience exceeds 100 million people. In 2025, Moscow-based gaming companies took part in eight major exhibitions in India, Egypt and China and signed export contracts worth more than 1 billion rubles ($~12.8 million).
