Kyrill Pshinnik: “Using Neural Networks Boosts Employee Productivity by 25 Percent”

AI adoption is helping Russian businesses cut routine tasks and raise work quality, driving measurable efficiency gains.

Using neural networks in everyday workflows can increase employee productivity by 20–25 percent, according to research by the Zerocoder University. In an interview with IT RUSSIA, Kyrill Pshinnik, co-founder and CEO of Zerocoder, said that both government agencies and private companies are now focused on achieving rapid economic returns with minimal investment of time and resources.

“As an entrepreneur, I can say the gains come from automating routine tasks and reducing errors with the help of AI. While we can’t yet eliminate the human factor entirely, up to 70 percent of tasks in some professions — like design, copywriting, and data analysis — can already be delegated to AI. For example, our AI copywriter replaces six human writers and saves us about 1 million rubles a month,” Pshinnik said.

Skills That Pay More

Pshinnik noted that full automation of the top 100 professions in Russia is unlikely before 2030 — a finding supported by joint research conducted with St. Petersburg State University, Moscow State University, and Innopolis University. Still, professionals with AI skills are already earning significantly more.

“According to hh.ru, their salaries can be 30–50 percent higher than average. Entry-level prompt engineers start at 60,000–80,000 rubles a month, and after a year of experience, they can make over 150,000 rubles. In the past year alone, our career center received over 500 applications for prompt engineer positions,” he said.

Building the Future Workforce

Both business and government are accelerating AI education initiatives. The ‘Digital Upgrade’ project by the Digital Economy autonomous nonprofit organization is training civil servants nationwide, while major universities like Innopolis, RANEPA, HSE, and MSU have launched dedicated AI departments. Zerocoder itself plans to open a joint master’s program in AI with Innopolis University in Tatarstan next year.

“Neural networks aren’t just another tech novelty for IT professionals — they’re a defining tool of our era, as transformative as the internet or mobile communication once were,” Pshinnik concluded. “Those who master AI today will have a long-term advantage in the job market.”
