OMK Develops Full Line of Support Systems for Nuclear Power Plant Pipelines
United Metallurgical Company has met the nuclear industry's demand for critical pipeline components by developing a full range of pipe support and suspension systems, including viscoelastic dampers.

These devices protect equipment from dynamic loads, seismic effects and vibration. The products are manufactured by OMK Energomash. The company has presented a catalog of these systems tailored to the specifications of the latest reactor designs, giving engineering firms a ready-to-use reference based on supplies to nuclear power plants under construction. The components are designed for a 60-year service life matching the plants' operating cycles, while their dimensions and load ratings have been standardized.
“We have moved beyond the role of a simple supplier. Today, designers get verified data, ready-to-use solutions and tools that allow them to build reliability into their calculations from the outset. We are now preparing to launch our own software for automated calculation of pipe support and suspension systems and selection of their components,” said Sergey Nikulin, chief pipeline designer at OMK Energomash.
