Russia Hosts First-Ever Global Digital Forum with Delegates from 115 Countries

The inaugural forum in Nizhny Novgorod brings together global experts and organizations to shape the future of digital technology and cooperation.

For the first time, Russia is hosting the Global Digital Forum, taking place in Nizhny Novgorod with representatives from 115 countries in attendance.

Participants include professionals from international and regional organizations, government agencies, businesses, and academic and scientific institutions. The IT-EXPO exhibition will feature 170 participating companies.

The forum will also host presentations from 2,792 IT experts, and 117 agreements and memorandums are expected to be signed over the course of the event.

The program features a wide array of seminars and lectures. One session, titled 'Critical Thinking in Social Media: Debunking Myths About Russia in African New Media,' will explore the portrayal of Russia across African media platforms. On June 6, a panel will address the topic 'AI for Good: Practical Applications for Equal Opportunity.'
