Russian Data Center Confirms High Level of Information Security
A Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Engineering data center has received certification from Russia’s information security regulator.

The data center operated by Russian company Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Engineering has received a certificate of compliance with information and telecommunications security requirements. The document was issued following a series of tests conducted by a licensed contractor of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control under approved methodologies and procedures, the company’s press service told IT RUSSIA.
Experts assessed whether the information security system meets requirements for protection against current threats. Specialists examined 12 security toolsets, including access management, intrusion detection, antivirus, and cryptographic protection. The results showed that the data center’s infrastructure provides maximum protection for sensitive information, including personal data, and complies with Russian standards.
Not a Formal Status, but a Practical Tool
The Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Engineering data center serves as a unified platform for automated information systems used by companies within the Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Group. Its systems process, store, and transmit data within a closed environment, while also enabling rapid detection of information security incidents.
