Russian Regions to Adopt AI in Urban Planning
After proving effective in Moscow’s construction sector, artificial intelligence is now set to guide development in cities across the country.
Moscow recently hosted a strategic session titled “Development and Implementation of AI Services in Construction, Architecture, and Urban Planning,” attended by representatives from more than 30 Russian regions.
The meeting identified 10 priority areas for AI integration in construction and architecture. Digital tools will assist in preparing project documentation, optimizing logistics, and automating numerous routine processes.
Pilot projects in Moscow’s urban planning sector have already confirmed the technology’s effectiveness. The capital is now ready to lead the nationwide digital transformation.
“We are creating not just technological
products but an ecosystem that enables every region to adopt advanced solutions
tailored to its current needs,” said Vladimir Yefimov, Moscow’s Deputy Mayor
for Urban Policy and Construction.
