Unified Digital Land Use Monitoring System to Be Created in Makhachkala
Makhachkala plans to introduce an automated accounting and monitoring system for land use based on the municipal geographic information system.
The system's main objective is to consolidate disparate data into a single digital map where the status of land plots and capital construction sites can be tracked in real time.
The platform will link information from relevant departments: municipal land control results, litigation and claims work, data on the demolition of unauthorized buildings, and materials from the Administrative and Technical Inspection Department.
For each problematic site, the system will allow responsible officials, task stages and deadlines, and the final outcome to be recorded — from remedying a violation to making adjustments in the Unified State Register of Real Estate or placing a plot on cadastral record. The program will also help plan raids and inspections efficiently by quarter and street, gradually covering the entire territory of Makhachkala.
