A social marketplace called Moscow – Kind City is now operating in Russia. The online store sells products made by inclusive workshops run by nonprofit organizations, with items crafted by artisans with developmental disabilities. Each purchase is not just a transaction but also a way to support a good cause, highlighting how digital technologies are reshaping even the charitable sector.

Helping Through Digital Tools

The network of nonprofits supplying goods to the platform continues to grow. One recent addition, the Nikolskaya Workshop, produces ceramic items and toys. Organizations like these help people with disabilities find meaningful work and integrate into society. The marketplace catalog currently features more than 1,700 products.

The project is supported by the Moscow Department of Labor and Social Protection.

Nonprofits in Russia also have access to free resources offering guidance on using artificial intelligence. Specialized websites provide popular prompts and explain best practices for working with neural networks.
