Rosatom Mining Unit Introduces Exoskeletons for Workers
The exoskeletons significantly reduce the physical strain on employees.

Khiagda JSC, part of Rosatom's Mining Division, has begun deploying exoskeletons at its production facilities. The devices are being used in the productive solutions processing unit to make employees' work less physically demanding. Each passive exoskeleton absorbs up to 70% of static and dynamic loads, helping protect the spine and joints.
"We are seeing that even limited mechanization with passive exoskeletons delivers tangible results: workers experience less fatigue, while attention and the quality of operations improve. It is important to us that every employee feels the company's commitment to their well-being and can focus on what matters most – working efficiently and reliably without worrying about physical strain. This is an investment in our workforce and in the long-term stability of our production operations," said Anatoly Mikhaylov, CEO of Khiagda JSC.
The company said the deployment of exoskeletons is part of a broader program to expand the use of robotics across its operations.
