Svetlana Robot Replaces 600 Human Operators in Moscow Region

Svetlana, a voice-based AI assistant used in the Moscow Region’s healthcare system, can replace up to 600 human operators during peak periods. The AI-powered system saves the region up to 250 million rubles ($2.9 million) a year, according to Igor Bryntsalov, chairman of the Moscow Region Duma.
He added that Svetlana handles up to 8 million incoming calls and makes about 10 million outbound calls a year. The system helps confirm appointments, reminds patients about visits with healthcare professionals, and invites them to undergo preventive health screenings.
According to Bryntsalov, digital products are now in use across the Moscow Region. Patients have access to the Dobrodel Zdorovye (Dobrodel Health) app, which covers the full cycle of healthcare management, from scheduling appointments to accessing electronic documents. Doctors can use AI services and applications that help fill out medical records, monitor diagnoses and medication prescriptions, and analyze CT and MRI scans.
