AI Assistant Helps Moscow Residents Track Health with Voice Commands

A new digital tool integrates voice assistant Alice with electronic health records, making it easier for users to log vital signs and monitor chronic conditions.
Moscow has launched a new health-monitoring service that allows residents to update their electronic medical records using voice commands through the AI-powered assistant Alice. The system supports daily logging of vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar, and oxygen levels.
Deputy Mayor Anastasia Rakova announced the rollout, calling it a key advancement in the city’s digital healthcare strategy.
The use of electronic health records (EHR) has increased by 25% in the past year, with over 300 million entries now stored in the 'Health Diary' section.
To use the new feature, residents must log into the EMIAS.INFO app through the city portal mos.ru. Health data can then be entered either via the web interface or by speaking to Alice-enabled devices like smartphones or smart speakers. Officials note that the service is particularly useful for elderly individuals and patients with chronic illnesses who require consistent tracking of health metrics.
The integration of AI into public health services is part of a broader digital transformation initiative. Moscow has already introduced telemedicine consultations, appointment reminders, and online doctor booking systems as part of this strategy.
