AIDA Assistant to Help Russian Doctors With Diagnosis
AI model analyzes patient data and suggests a preliminary diagnosis.

Medical institutions in the Moscow Region are testing a diagnostic assistant called AIDA. According to the regional Ministry of Health, the digital tool is built on artificial intelligence to support therapists and general practitioners.
Diagnosis Based on Medical Records
The system analyzes patient data from electronic medical records and then generates a hypothesis corresponding to one of 95 of the most common and socially significant diagnoses.
At the same time, the doctor independently determines the final diagnosis. If the physician’s conclusion differs from the model’s assessment, the system proposes an alternative option, while the ultimate decision remains with the doctor.
Another medical AI assistant has also been launched on the SberZdorovye website in Russia. The neural network helps users choose a doctor based on symptoms, personal parameters, and patient reviews. The smart assistant suggests five of the most suitable specialists with the highest ratings and a large number of positive reviews.
