Moscow Colleges Join the “Moscow Electronic School” Platform

The move connects thousands of students and teachers to a unified digital ecosystem, offering mobile access to schedules, coursework, and vast educational resources.

Moscow has pushed its vocational education system into the digital age by fully integrating city colleges into the “Moscow Electronic School” platform.

City officials confirmed the completion of the project, announcing the launch of a specialized service, “College MESH.” It is available both through the school.mos.ru portal and a mobile app, ensuring that students and faculty can work seamlessly on the go. The system is now live across all colleges under the authority of Moscow’s government. To support the rollout, more than 3,000 laptops were distributed to teachers, and over 5,500 Wi‑Fi hotspots were installed.

For students, the service consolidates everything from class schedules and homework assignments to internship calendars and a digital grade book. The interface mimics a traditional paper record, making it intuitive to use. Teachers, meanwhile, gain electronic journals and unlimited access to MESH’s extensive digital library, which continues to expand with materials for both vocational and general education.

Officials say the IT modernization of colleges not only makes day‑to‑day learning more convenient but also elevates the status of vocational education, preparing a workforce better equipped for the economy of the future.
