Muscovites Can Now Consult Rospotrebnadzor Online

The new digital service streamlines consumer rights protection, eliminating the need for in-person visits.

Moscow residents can now get advice from the city’s Rospotrebnadzor specialists without leaving home. A new online service, launched on the Consumer Portal, allows users to resolve issues related to consumer rights remotely.

According to the Moscow Department of Information Technology, the service works on any internet-connected device. To schedule a video consultation, users simply visit the Consumer Portal’s main page and select the “Online Consultation” option. The system offers relevant resources on the chosen topic — from drafting claims to filing lawsuits. If questions remain, users can book a consultation after logging in via their mos.ru account. Once scheduled, they receive the appointment time, a video call link, and connection instructions in both their personal account and by email.

The Consumer Portal, created in 2022 by the Moscow Government and Rospotrebnadzor, already contains more than 230 resources, including guides, webinars, and expert explanations. The service is also integrated with other online tools available on mos.ru.
