Russia Launches Regional Digital Hub to Power Up Its Tech Talent

In the city of Ufa, a new kind of launchpad just went live—not for rockets, but for coders, startups, and digital dreamers

Russian fintech firm T-Technologies, the digital arm of T-Bank, has unveiled its first regional tech hub: a 1,680-square-meter open space built to supercharge collaboration between students, developers, and local businesses.

The new facility is more than just a co-working space. It’s a full-fledged professional ecosystem designed to spark innovation and accelerate learning. With room for 150 specialists, the hub blends flexible work zones with communal chill-out areas—wrapped in a design that nods to regional identity.

But this isn’t just about sleek interiors. The hub is built for purpose. Events are already on the calendar: developer meetups, student bootcamps, and collaborative sprints between academia and industry. Ties with local universities and the Russian Federation of Sports Programming aim to create a steady pipeline of tech-savvy talent.

“We’re planning to double our team in the region and invest heavily in education,” said Vyacheslav Tsyganov, T-Bank’s Head of IT.

In a country pushing hard on digital sovereignty, regional hubs like this one aren’t just tech spaces—they’re strategic nodes in a growing national innovation grid.
