Russia Supplies Advanced Digital Solutions to Vietnam
Russian developments in cybersecurity and digital solutions for business and industry are gaining popularity abroad.
Russia is strengthening cooperation with Vietnam in the IT sector. This was announced by Russia’s trade representative in Vietnam, Vyacheslav Kharitonov, during a press conference in Hanoi. He noted that there is significant potential for industrial cooperation between the two countries in the information technology sector, which is identified as a priority for both countries’ economies.
Smart Cities and Automotive Industry
Kharitonov emphasized that several high-tech projects from IT companies are already being implemented in Vietnam. These projects include cybersecurity, smart city systems, financial services, and solutions for business, mining, and agriculture.
According to Kharitonov, around 40 Russian companies are currently operating in Vietnam, implementing about fifteen projects. The countries are also developing cooperation in the pharmaceutical and automotive industries.
