Russia Turns Cloud Data Into Tables and Charts

Russian cloud services and AI provider Cloud.ru has delivered what many businesses have long expected from the cloud: a way to turn fragmented data into a clear, real-time picture. The company has launched a new tool, Evolution Managed BI, which allows users to visualize and analyze data in the cloud without wrestling with infrastructure, licensing or endless “we’ll refine it later” adjustments.

Charts, diagrams, tables and interactive dashboards can be assembled on the Cloud.ru platform in minutes. The data is immediately ready for commercial use, backed by service-level agreements, round-the-clock support and the ability to scale under load.

Built for Production

The service is based on the open-source platform Apache Superset, but delivered in a managed, production-grade implementation. Evolution Managed BI can seamlessly combine data from files, cloud storage, databases and external systems, including PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MySQL, Oracle and others.

There are no limits on the number of users: analytics can be accessed by entire teams, not just a select few.

No Extra Scripting Required

Using the built-in SQL Lab, users can send queries directly to databases without third-party tools or unnecessary steps such as scripts or manual export and import. Deployment and integration take just minutes, while the pay-as-you-go pricing model removes one of the main drawbacks of traditional subscriptions.

Customers pay only for the resources they actually consume. In addition, the first instance is available free of charge, without the marketing traps vendors often rely on.

From Storage to Analytics

Evolution Managed BI is part of the Evolution Data Platform, which covers the entire data lifecycle – from storage to analytics. The platform is built on Kubernetes, ensuring resilience and predictable performance.
