Russia to Launch AI-Powered Tourist App for Foreign Visitors
At the Travel HUB “Commonwealth” forum in Makhachkala on October 2, officials will unveil Visit Russia, a multilingual mobile app designed to guide international tourists through the country.

The free service acts as a digital concierge, featuring AI-driven recommendations and support in 36 languages. Built as a one-stop platform, it integrates booking, insurance, visa assistance, and 24/7 help.
The project was initiated by the Russian Union of Travel Industry and backed by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Its goal: to position Russia as a modern, accessible travel destination.
Russia already offers its citizens the Russpass platform. In 2024, that app introduced an AI assistant that suggests hotels, routes, restaurants, and attractions. Russpass now aggregates tens of thousands of offers, from packaged tours and museums to events across the country.
