Russian IT Firms Expand Into Asian Markets
Delegation to visit Dushanbe and present specific projects to local clients

From April 7 to 10, the capital of Tajikistan will host the business forum Russia–Tajikistan: Exploring the Digital Future Together. Russian technology companies will take part, presenting their products and holding talks with local government agencies and businesses.
The forum agenda includes discussions on deploying digital services in public administration, banking, and industry. Additional topics will cover data center construction, workforce training, and financial system security.
Beyond Discussions
The mission format goes beyond dialogue, focusing on direct meetings with potential clients to launch joint projects. The Russian delegation will hold talks with relevant government agencies of Tajikistan and visit the Dushanbe IT Park.
Organizers expect that the meetings will lead to the first contracts. The focus is on launching joint initiatives in public services, education, and digital infrastructure development.
Backed by Both Governments
On the Russian side, specialized business associations and industry organizations are involved in organizing the mission. The project is supported by Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development and Ministry of Digital Development, as well as Tajik government agencies responsible for innovation and digital technologies.
The two neighboring countries are effectively bound to cooperate in IT, and the upcoming forum is expected to elevate that cooperation to a new level.
