Russian Nuclear Industry’s Sovereign Fintech System Proves Its Efficiency
Rosatom’s IT arm has rolled out a fully domestic fintech platform that successfully migrated critical business processes to Russian-made software, strengthening the sector’s technological sovereignty.
At PGConf St. Petersburg 2025, a conference dedicated to database management systems, Rosatom’s IT company presented the “Corporate Settlement Center” (RCK), a fintech solution built entirely on Russian software. Demonstrating RCK at such a venue was considered a key milestone in recognizing the platform’s effectiveness.
The system, developed by Greenatom, preserved familiar functionality, adapted application code, and ensured stable performance on the new Russian-made PostgreSQL database.
Today, RCK processes over 15,000 payments daily, serving more than 350 companies in the sector. In 2025, it was recognized as Russia’s best fintech project at the CIPR Digital forum.
