Skolkovo Resident Develops AI System to Configure Bionic Prosthetics
Open-source architecture allows the system to work with both Russian and international medical devices.

Engineers in Moscow are increasingly using neural networks to fine-tune bionic prosthetics. A Skolkovo resident company is playing a key role in this effort by developing a universal gait analysis system. The technology enables individualized calibration of lower-limb prosthetics, while its open-source code ensures compatibility with both domestic and foreign devices.
“The system is being designed as a universal, accessible tool for standard prosthetics and rehabilitation centers,” said CEO Ivan Khudyakov.
Moscow currently offers a package of 20 support measures for companies developing AI-driven medical services, aimed at strengthening the technological capacity of businesses and expanding access to high-quality digital solutions.
