AI Platforms and Interactive Labs Tested in Russian Schools

From VR physics experiments to AI-powered personalized lessons, Moscow schools and colleges are piloting next-generation educational tools designed to reshape classroom learning.

The Moscow Innovation Cluster showcased pilot projects in education, all developed by local entrepreneurs, according to mos.ru.

At the “Intellectual” school in the Fili-Davydkovo district, students are testing VR Physics Lab, an interactive physics laboratory. The platform lets students conduct real experiments and complex tests in a digital format. The simulator, powered by augmented reality, is based on a physics-mathematical model that accurately processes data and records experimental results.

At School No. 2057 named after I.S. Barov, students are trialing “Native Class,” a digital English-language teaching platform. AI creates a personalized learning course, tailoring assignments to each student’s level and learning pace. Pupils complete exercises digitally, while teachers receive ready-made lesson plans and analytical insights.

The Moscow Technical College of Creative Industries named after L.B. Krasin has piloted “Filin,” an AI platform that automatically generates study materials and test questions. It produces lecture notes, suggests tasks, and creates interim assessments across subjects. For each student, the system builds a personalized route, tracking progress, identifying knowledge gaps, and assigning targeted exercises.

Meanwhile, Moscow International School has launched trials of an engineering hardware-software complex. It includes a desktop laser machine, learning modules, teacher resources, and introductory courses for developing engineering skills.
