Belgorod-based company Gormash, which manufactures drilling equipment for Russia and international markets, has migrated to the Inferit RS108 database server from domestic vendor Inferit, which operates its own production facilities in Fryazino, according to a statement from Softline Group.

Inferit RS108 R1G2D24 servers were delivered in a configuration tailored to the company’s current needs. They now reliably support plant operations and around 100 employees, with the option to scale capacity in the future.

Reliability, Stability, Availability

The system supports up to 24 DDR4 memory modules operating in six-channel mode and is equipped with two hot-swappable 800-watt redundant power supplies certified Platinum.

“When selecting server equipment, our key criteria were reliability, operational stability, and access to service support within Russia. The Inferit system meets our requirements for performance and fault tolerance and at this stage fully handles workloads related to our corporate systems and database operations,” said Vladimir Shchukin, network engineer at Gormash.
