Ismaila Joof: Forums Like This Strengthen Our Sense of Belonging to One Large Community
More than 1,000 IT developers, experts and scientists from 120 countries came to Moscow on October 8–10 for the 2nd Global Digital Forum, whose main topics include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital sovereignty.
Participants are discussing new opportunities for international cooperation and knowledge sharing. Ismaila Joof of The Gambia spoke to an IT Russia correspondent:
– I came to this forum, organized by the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, from The Gambia. This is my first visit to Russia, and I am very happy to be here.
This is a very important event for us. The educational program is excellent, and we have learned a great deal. In addition, forums like this strengthen our sense of belonging to one large community. Representatives from many different countries are here, and this is a very important event for us. We made a great deal of effort to get to Russia. We would like to thank both the participants and the Ministry of Digital Development for organizing the forum.
During the forum, we had an opportunity to attend several sessions. And once again, I want to say that the program here is excellent and very informative. We have learned a great deal, first and foremost about artificial intelligence, its development and how it is being created. We are very grateful for that.
