Jeremies Atevei Pimizi: Driverless Technology Could Transform Transportation
A Togolese participant in the Second Global Digital Forum spoke about the technologies that impressed him at VDNKh and what he hopes to apply in his own work.
One of the fall's biggest IT events opens tomorrow, when the Second Global Digital Forum gets underway at the Mechta venue in Moscow's Gorky Park. Today, guests visited VDNKh and shared their impressions and expectations with a reporter from the IT Russia media platform. Jeremies Atevei Pimizi of Togo shared some of his own ideas:
– What impressed me most at VDNKh were the driverless cars, because I work in the travel and transportation sector myself. I'm also very interested in digital technologies such as drones and unmanned aerial systems. I think combining drones with artificial intelligence could lead to many promising solutions.
I came to the Global Digital Forum to meet new people from around the world, build connections with them and learn how the technologies I'm discovering here could help my country and my company.
Even at this early stage, digital technologies for transportation and safety have emerged as one of the most popular topics among forum participants.
