Mohammad Saber Shah: “Technology Should Help People Become More Creative, Capable and Connected”
On October 8–10, Moscow will host the II Global Digital Forum, which will serve as a platform for dialogue among representatives of different countries about the future of technology.
Participants will be able to explore innovative solutions for building sovereign digital infrastructure, establish direct contacts with IT companies, and discuss cooperation with international partners on integrating their products into national digital ecosystems.
Ahead of the forum, Mohammad Saber Shah, founder of Chittagong Live and AW Communication (Bangladesh), told IT Russia why he sees artificial intelligence as a challenge not for technology only but also for people, what he expects from discussions with forum participants, and what experience Bangladesh hopes to bring to the global dialogue.
– My expectation from visiting the Global Digital Forum is not simply to attend another international event. I see it as an opportunity to listen, exchange ideas, meet people from different countries, and better understand where the digital world is heading.
Coming from Bangladesh, I work closely with digital media, communication, marketing and technology. Every day, I see how quickly digital tools are changing the way people learn, work, communicate and build businesses. Artificial intelligence, in particular, is already changing many things that seemed quite normal only a few years ago. I am interested in understanding these changes not only from a technological perspective, but also from a human perspective.
One of the things I look forward to most at the Forum is meeting people who are working on different sides of the digital ecosystem. A conversation with an entrepreneur, researcher, educator or technology professional can sometimes provide more insight than reading dozens of articles online. I hope to exchange experiences, share perspectives from Bangladesh, and learn how people in other countries are responding to the same challenges.
I am also particularly interested in the future of work and education. AI is creating new opportunities, but it is also forcing us to rethink which skills people need and how young people should prepare for their careers. I believe that technology should not simply make people faster; it should help people become more creative, capable and connected.
I would also like to explore opportunities for long-term cooperation. International forums are valuable not only because of what happens during the event, but because of the relationships and ideas that continue afterwards. I hope to connect with organizations and individuals with whom I can develop meaningful projects in digital media, education, entrepreneurship and technology.
Finally, I want to bring something from Bangladesh to the conversation. Bangladesh has a young and increasingly digital population, and there are many stories, challenges and opportunities that deserve to be part of the global discussion.
So, I am coming to the Global Digital Forum with curiosity rather than a fixed agenda: to listen, learn, share and build connections that may continue long after the Forum ends.
