Moscow Region Students Offered Crash Course in Neural Networks

Local family centers are rolling out a five-day intensive where parents and kids can build their own computer game while learning the fundamentals of AI.

In the Moscow region, a new program called “Code of the Future: Artificial Intelligence” is giving schoolchildren and their parents hands-on experience with neural network technologies. Hosted at local family centers, the five-day intensive combines digital literacy with a practical goal: developing an original computer game.

The curriculum covers 54 academic hours of in-depth study across different areas of AI, from theory to application. Upon completion, participants receive official certificates. Registration is handled through the regional government services portal, after which students gain full access to learning materials via a dedicated online platform.

The initiative is part of a broader push to expand digital skills in Russian schools. By September 29, every school in the country will take part in the trial stage of the All-Russian Artificial Intelligence Olympiad, giving students a chance to test their knowledge and sharpen their experience with cutting-edge technologies.
