Mozambique Plans to Expand International Cooperation on Digitalization

The II Global Digital Forum is scheduled to take place in Moscow from Oct. 8 to 10 and will bring together 750 guests from 110 countries. Among them will be Valéria da Conceição Zavala, director of the National Planning and Research Department at Mozambique's Ministry of Communication and Digital Transformation. She said mobile network coverage is currently expanding rapidly in the country. Mozambique is also developing infrastructure to provide broad access to broadband internet. These are the basic tools needed to further digitalize the economy.

As for the II Global Digital Forum, Zavala said she hopes it will provide a platform for further strengthening international cooperation.
