Raj Tailor: India Could Put Russian IT Technologies to Use
An Indian participant in the Second Global Digital Forum spoke about working with Russian software products and the potential for using open-source technologies.

The forum opens tomorrow at the Mechta venue in Moscow's Gorky Park. Even before the business program begins, participants visited Skolkovo, where they explored Russian digital technologies and shared their first impressions with reporters from the IT Russia media platform.
Forum participant Raj Tailor spoke about which Russian IT solutions could find applications in India:
– I represent a company that helps businesses adapt software to their needs. We work across different areas, including accounting. We handle all of this on a single platform, bringing the data together in one place. We mainly work with open-source software. We really like this approach, and Russia also works extensively with this kind of software, so we cooperate in this area. I attended the previous forum as well and discovered some interesting Russian digital solutions there. We have also adapted and integrated several Russian products into our system.
As for this forum, I think it's very useful because it brings together people from many different fields, including business, culture and government. That gives us opportunities to work with representatives from a wide range of sectors. I would very much like to see Russian digital technologies and innovations adopted in India, and vice versa, so that we can learn from one another and exchange experience.
