Rosatom Launches AI Assistant “Atom.Zaya” to Support Employees
The intelligent system gives staff instant access to corporate knowledge, cutting response times and easing support workloads.

Russia’s Rosatom State Corporation has introduced “Atom.Zaya,” an AI-powered assistant developed by Greenatom, designed to help employees quickly find answers within the company’s vast internal documentation. The system uses natural language processing to understand user questions and automatically generate clear, structured answers.
Since its rollout, Atom.Zaya has already handled more than 10,000 employee requests without human involvement—an achievement that marks the first AI-based support service integrated into a centralized ERP system in Russia’s nuclear industry.
The project implements the concept of a “zero support line,” meaning that employees can get direct access to verified information instantly, without waiting for help desk responses. Instead of combing through multiple manuals, users simply ask a question, and the assistant retrieves relevant excerpts and assembles a step-by-step explanation complete with source links.
Beyond Chat: AI That Sees and Learns
Atom.Zaya is part of a broader digital transformation effort within Rosatom that also includes “Atom.Oko,” a document recognition system. Together, these tools help the company scale operations without expanding support teams—an approach that’s both efficient and sustainable.
The results are impressive: 75% of users report satisfaction with the assistant’s performance, while 87% rate its answers as highly accurate.
The project’s success was recognized at the “Leaders of the Production System Development 2025” forum, where it won an award for optimization and digital transformation.
More than just an internal upgrade, Atom.Zaya signals how AI-driven systems can reshape industrial support models worldwide—reducing operational costs, boosting productivity, and transforming how employees interact with corporate knowledge.
