Shaoling Dai: Russian Technologies Could Find Applications in ASEAN Countries
An Indonesian participant in the Second Global Digital Forum spoke about the Russian technologies that caught his attention and the opportunities for technology cooperation.

Ahead of the Second Global Digital Forum, which opens tomorrow at the Mechta venue in Gorky Park, Moscow has become a gathering point for IT experts and professionals from around the world. Guests attending the event toured Skolkovo today and told the IT Russia media platform what they expect from the forum.
Shaoling Dai of Indonesia shared his impressions of Russian technologies and his perspective on opportunities for cooperation:
– Our company came to this forum to see what technologies are currently being developed in Russia and understand how we can build partnerships with Russian companies.
I've already had a chance to visit several sites focused on high technology and its future development, and I was very impressed. I was particularly interested in one large machine I saw. It is operated entirely using sensors and algorithms, detects signals over long distances and can be used efficiently to transport various products.
As for our own experience, we could share our expertise in IT and education. For example, I recently visited an office where I saw an ecosystem built entirely on Russian technology and software developed in Russia.
I think it would be interesting to deploy solutions like these in countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, particularly for virtual conferences and interaction between students and teachers. I think this could become one area of cooperation between Russian and Asian companies.
