Yandex.Eats Deploys AI to Serve Up Personalized Discounts
Yandex.Eats has launched “Boost,” an AI-powered feature that delivers real-time personalized discounts on food delivery.

“Boost” is a new digital feature for restaurants on the Yandex.Eats platform. The AI-powered system benefits both businesses and customers. It reviews a user’s order history and predicts whether a discount will increase the chances of a repeat purchase from a particular restaurant. Based on that forecast, the platform automatically sets the optimal discount.
The company explained that restaurants can allocate their marketing budgets flexibly: they can invest in boosting their ranking in search results, in offering individual discounts to customers, or in combining both approaches. This gives partners precise control over demand, while customers save money on delivery.
The rollout of “Boost” is another step in the evolution of personalized retail in Russia. More than a simple discounting option, it is an AI-driven platform designed to maximize the efficiency of restaurants’ advertising budgets. Early estimates suggest it could raise the average number of orders by 15%.
