More Than 100 Countries Apply to Attend Global Digital Forum
Representatives of more than 100 countries, including several dozen high-level delegations, have already applied to participate in the 2nd Global Digital Forum.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov said he is confident that the forum will be even more successful, larger and more substantive than last year’s event.
“Such strong interest from foreign participants confirms Russia’s special role in advancing the global digital agenda, as well as developing countries’ interest in working with us,” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov added.
The Russian Foreign Ministry will organize a dedicated session on international cooperation in information security.
The forum will also host discussions on some of the most pressing technology issues facing the global community. Topics will include strengthening global cooperation while respecting national sovereignty, reducing the digital divide, and ensuring nondiscriminatory access to technologies and resources.
