Chinonso Peakman Peter: Achieving Digital Sovereignty Is Very Important for Nigeria
The 2nd Global Digital Forum in Moscow brought together IT professionals, entrepreneurs and scientists from 120 countries to discuss the role of digital technologies in all areas of life, the importance of artificial intelligence and international cooperation in these fields.
Participants from around the world are discussing how technology is becoming part of public services, business and international cooperation.
Chinonso Peakman Peter, a representative of the International Association of Digital Economy ID, spoke to the IT Russia media platform about the importance of digital sovereignty for Nigeria and the role of artificial intelligence:
– I represent a nongovernmental organization, the International Association of Digital Economy ID. I was particularly interested in the discussions on digital sovereignty and the digital economy, as well as the panel session. I also found the sessions on artificial intelligence interesting.
I’m especially interested in how countries can achieve digital sovereignty. For our country, Nigeria, this is very important.
Another issue I care about is artificial intelligence: its development and its impact on the world. In my view, no country can do without AI today, so this is a very important issue for us.
