Nosakhare Omoruyi: Agreement With IT Russia Will Help Bring Russian Technologies to Nigeria
At the Second Global Digital Forum in Moscow, international participants are sharing experience and discussing joint projects.

A cooperation agreement between the IT Russia media platform and representatives of Nigeria marks another step toward stronger technological ties. Nosakhare Omoruyi, a member of the Nigerian delegation, said the partnership is intended to strengthen mutual understanding between the two countries and help identify areas where Russian technologies could be in demand in Africa:
– Russia is a global power in information technology. That is why partnership and cooperation with IT Russia are extremely important to us. This partnership will strengthen mutual understanding between our countries and facilitate the transfer of technology from Russia to Nigeria.
We recognize the enormous potential of Russia’s computing capacity and computing technologies. The agreement will help us understand how these technologies can be adapted for use in Africa.
Of course, we want this to happen as soon as possible. When I return home to my country, my colleagues and I will brainstorm and explore the areas where cooperation could deliver results most quickly.
