Patel Shivam Bharatkumar: Russia Has Strong Information Security Capabilities
An Indian participant in the Second Global Digital Forum praised Russian open-source software as well as a solution in the field of information security.
The Second Global Digital Forum opens tomorrow at the Mechta venue in Gorky Park, bringing together more than 1,000 experts from around the world. Before the business program begins, guests visited Skolkovo, where they shared their first impressions during a tour and spoke with a reporter from the IT Russia media platform about what they expect from the upcoming event.
Patel Shivam Bharatkumar of India, IT director at SABYA, sees the forum as an opportunity to exchange expertise in AI and information security:
– We live in the age of artificial intelligence. It's particularly relevant for smaller companies. AI sovereignty and the sovereignty of AI models are also very important, along with data protection and information security.
I know that various types of open-source software are widely used in Russia. You also have strong information security capabilities, including solutions from 1C. Russian IT products are supplied to Asia as well, and Russian companies operate at a global level.
I can see that many different sectors are represented here: businesses, startups and a variety of companies. And, of course, we're all talking to each other, working together at this forum and sharing our ideas. More than 100 companies from different countries will be represented at the forum. So, of course, we're going to learn a great deal here.
