Prabhavati Bista Subba: Nepal Would Like to Use Russian Digital Solutions
A Nepalese participant in the Second Global Digital Forum spoke about her first impressions of Russia and the technologies that could be put to use in her country.
Only hours remain before the event begins. From October 8 to 10, the Mechta venue in Gorky Park is set to bring together experts from dozens of countries to discuss digital technologies and international cooperation. Ahead of the forum, participants visited Skolkovo, where a reporter from the IT Russia media platform asked them what they expect from the upcoming event.
Prabhavati Bista Subba of Nepal spoke about her first impressions of Russia, her interest in Russian digital solutions and how they could be used in Nepal:
– This is my first time in Russia and my first time at this forum. Before the trip, I wondered what everything would be like and how I would feel here. But I really like Moscow. I can see that Russia's economy is developing and digital technologies are being actively adopted.
Nepal is a small country with a relatively small population compared with Russia. That's why Russia's experience with advanced technologies is particularly relevant to us. We would like to learn more about the digital solutions being developed in Russia and, where possible, adapt them for use in Nepal.
We're at Skolkovo now, and I can see many promising technologies and innovative solutions here. I'm particularly interested in advances in artificial intelligence. Technologies like these can reduce the amount of human labor required. I think we have a lot to learn from Russia.
